Monkey Poops 2

Alright, here it is. The most epic recipe ever. Monkey poops.

The easiest way to make these is to feed your monkey plenty of chocolate and peanut butter, then wait.

Now, you might have problems with this recipe if you do not own a monkey of your own... so you'll have to do it the other way.

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Mix sugar, butter, milk and cocoa over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Add oats (and nuts), and drop onto baking sheet or waxed paper. Cool for about an hour, although if the desire to eat them sooner arises, go for it.

And so it begins...

Yes, here it is, here is the beginning of my amazing weekly blog. Unfortunately, I do not have a recipe yet. So, for this post, I thought I'd just let you guys know what to expect.

I will try to have a picture or two for every recipe, one of the finished product, and maybe one for... well, I don't know either. But, I'll make it work.

My recipes will be ones that are foreign, not well known, new and strange, or just oddly named. For instance, if you told someone you were bringing desert to the picnic, they would nod and be excited for it. If you told someone you were bringing Monkey Poops to the picnic... well, you get what I'm saying, right?

Also... if anyone has a recipe they want to use, but aren't sure if they're willing to be brave souls and test it themselves... I will gladly try it for you. :D

Monkey Poop...

...is actually really yummy!

Alright, it has been decided. My blog is going to be a cooking blog. My goal is to get at least one new recipe a week, and once I'm done with the play we'll see if we can't upgrade that to two a week. :D

And no, the title isn't just random. You'll see why later.
